I seek to provide healing using many different modalities and techniques. From Deep tissue techniques like stretching, active-resistance, frictioning and petrissage and tapotement, to gentle modalities like Lymphatic drainage and scar tissue release I seek to find what works best to meet healing needs for each client.
From Covid-19 to chronic pain, I hold myself to high standards of ethical behavior and safety. I seek to provide kind, thoughtful services. Many aspects are customizable from music or if you want me to wear a mask or heat. If something makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please tell me!
A traditional 50min massage to meet a specific goal
A slow movement light modality performed with manual technique to reduce swelling and inflammation, support immune system, and promote relaxation
Deeper pressure, friction and kneading techniques combined with point-pressure to release trigger points and knots to ease pain. Generally can work on 2-3 areas per session, like back and neck, legs and back, back and arms. Due to Covid-19 no face or TMJ work at this time. Uses a coconut-free cream for smoother glide and to reduce friction on the skin.
Working with your individual needs, health history and body to create a massage that is safe and effective. May integrate myofascial release, active-resistance, strain-counter-strain, trigger-point, sports and deep-tissue techniques. Custom music selection and preferences for quiet or conversation creates a client-focused experience. May choose no lotion, cream or grapeseed oil.

A truly customized experience to work with complex medical history and unique needs. Not available for first time clients, as I will use my judgement for safe and effective treatment. However, this can be as varied as working on parent and child in the same session, customizing for pain relief associated with auto-immune diseases or degenerative disc disease or reducing scar tissue. My studio is wheelchair accessible, and I can also do seated, semi-reclined or chair massage.
